Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: RN Specialty: ER Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience License: Required Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice Certifications: Required Basic Life Support certification Must-Have: Required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification Description: Centered in a vibrant community, this healthcare provider has been a leading organization for over a century. Responsibilities include: Collecting relevant data pertaining to the patient's health or situation. Analyzing assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Developing a care plan with prescribed interventions to achieve desired outcomes. Implementing the plan and coordinating care delivery. Employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluating progress towards achieving outcomes. Identifying outcomes for the patient or situation. Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and humane care. Providing educational opportunities for patients and families, as well as team members. Directly delivering health information to patients and families. Participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegating tasks and coordinating duties among healthcare team members. Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
