Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,074 per week in Albany, GA

The unit sees approximately 180-200 patient visits per day. A 75-mile radius rule applies for candidates. All travelers must have TNCC certification. The emergency room has a 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatric personnel. Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 4 patients. Nurses will draw labs and start IVs. There are dedicated respiratory therapists available 24/7. Pharmacy services are available around the clock, with an on-campus presence after regular hours. Common patient diagnoses include a range from pediatrics to geriatrics, with a variety of trauma cases. Some neuro and orthopedic trauma patients are admitted while others are transferred out. This facility is a CVA center, and no burn patients are kept on-site. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Holiday work is also required every other holiday. Caribbean blue scrubs are required for all staff. The expectation to complete orientation during the first week of employment is mandatory. Failure to complete orientation without prior approval will not be accepted. Cancellation policies are in effect for shifts.
