Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Canton, Georgia. This role is based in a dynamic Emergency Department, providing critical care to a diverse patient population presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social aspects, upon arrival in the Emergency Department.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs, medical orders, and established protocols.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as necessary.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other physiological data, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition.
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and diagnostic tests.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff to ensure coordinated and continuous patient care.
- Respond rapidly and effectively to emergency situations, including cardiac arrests, traumas, and respiratory distress.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent, direct experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room (ER) setting.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

- Proficiency in emergency assessment and critical care interventions.
- Strong knowledge of trauma care, cardiac emergencies, and respiratory management.
- Competence in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and medication administration.
