Schedule: Shift-based staffing with acuity-based patient assignments. Shifts begin 15 minutes prior to start time for huddle and handoff. Full 30-34 minute lunch break required per shift.

Highlights:

• 48-bed Emergency Department with approximately 25 additional treatment spaces in a high-volume acute care setting
• Collaborative team environment with approximately 80 staff members including Charge Nurses, Flow Navigators, Paramedics, ED Techs, and Unit Clerks
• Exposure to trauma, critical care, and emergency medicine procedures including moderate sedation, RSI, CPR, cardiac monitoring, stroke and trauma assessments
• Meditech EMR system with GE/Stryker/Plum 360 equipment
• Acuity-based patient ratios supporting quality care delivery
• Team-oriented culture with "all hands on deck" collaborative approach

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or compact state license with ability to practice in Texas
• TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS, and CPI certifications required
• Strong clinical and rapid patient assessment skills with critical thinking abilities
• Ability to recognize changes in patient condition and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a high-volume Emergency Department and trauma experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center
