The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:4 on nights. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients with varying acuity levels. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and be able to manage critical situations effectively. Experience in a teaching hospital is preferred. The nurse will float between different areas within the emergency department as needed. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The role involves working with diverse patient populations, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this position.
