Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,092 per week in Bridgeport, WV

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: 2+ years required, preferred 5 years in emergency department License: Active RN License Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience in IV start, triage, and emergency care - Travel experience is required - Preferred certifications include CPI, MAB, NRP, TNCC Description: An experienced ER RN is needed for day shifts. Work schedule consists of weekdays and every other weekend. The contract duration is for 13 weeks. There are no call, charge, or float requirements. Candidates may request a blocked schedule at the time of application. The facility has a maximum patient ratio of 4 patients per RN. Ideal candidates should have experience in small emergency departments. A minimum of 2 years in an emergency setting is required, with preferred experience of 5 years. First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position. Required skills include managing abdominal pain, asthma, and various emergency medical situations. The facility sees patients across all age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The average daily census in the emergency room is around 40 patients. The unit is supported by an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
