Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,092 per week in Hopewell, VA

# Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Nurse – Virginia**Start Date:** July 7, 2026 **Location:** Hopewell, Virginia **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Rotating shifts including every other weekend, at least one Friday and one Monday per 4-week schedule; no on-call required**Highlights:** - 22-bed Emergency Department with vertical space capacity for additional patients- 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio with strong team support including charge nurses, techs, and medics- EMR system: Meditech (EDM); equipment includes Phillips & GE Monitors and Level 1 Rapid Infuser- Diverse case mix including cardioversions, central line placements, cardiac arrests, Code Stroke and Code Sepsis protocols, pacemaker interrogation, and routine ER procedures- May float to a nearby freestanding emergency department (approximately 15 minutes away)- Scrub attire: Teal top with black or teal bottoms**Requirements:** - Current RN license in Virginia- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications required- Strong IV skills with adult and pediatric populations (must-have)- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Trauma experience and TNCC certification preferred- Meditech experience preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** Join a collaborative emergency department team of approximately 50 staff members dedicated to patient-centered care.
