  • Schedule: 3×12
  • Experience Required: 2 Years
  • Weekly Pay:$2100 to $2300
Responsibilities
  • Assess, triage, and provide emergency nursing care to patients with medical, surgical, trauma, cardiac, neurological, pediatric, and orthopedic emergencies
  • Perform rapid patient assessments and continuously monitor changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as prescribed
  • Assist physicians during emergency procedures, trauma resuscitations, and life-saving interventions
  • Operate and monitor cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and other emergency department equipment
  • Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies, code situations, and changes in patient status
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, laboratory personnel, radiology staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and emergency department quality measures
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting patients and families during stressful situations
Requirements
  • Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact RN License
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Current ACLS Certification required
  • Current PALS Certification preferred
  • TNCC Certification preferred
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred
  • Experience caring for trauma, cardiac, stroke, pediatric, and medical emergency patients
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, multitasking, and emergency response skills
  • Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional emergency patient care
