Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,103 per week in Midland, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Room or equivalent size License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required (must be willing to obtain if offered) Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room Preferably 5-8 years of experience Experience with adults and children Level II or III trauma experience Recent Emergency Room travel experience (past 6-8 months preferred) Description: Start date within the next 3-5 weeks. Candidates must have ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications or be willing to obtain them if offered. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room or an equivalent is required. The facility prefers candidates with 5-8 years of experience. Experience in managing adults and children is essential. Candidates should have Level II or III trauma experience. Recent Emergency Room travel experience is preferred within the last 6-8 months. Knowledge of the charting system is preferred. Candidates will encounter diverse patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. A daily census of approximately 200 patients is expected. The unit includes 42 beds. Successful candidates will possess skills in various emergency conditions and procedures. Flexibility to work on holidays may be required. An on-site drug screen will be conducted as part of the pre-employment process.
