Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: RN Specialty: ER Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 Experience: Preferred License: Required Certifications: - Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification - Client Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) Must-Have: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred - Acute care facility experience Preferred Description: Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Collect relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situation. Analyze the assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implement the plan and coordinate care delivery. Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes. Identify outcomes for patients or their situations. Collaborate with the team of patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe and caring environment. Provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provide health information to patients, families, and treatment team. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegate appropriately and coordinate the duties of healthcare team members. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Adhere to safety and wellbeing requirements for associates and patients. Receive necessary vaccinations as a condition of employment.
