This position involves working in a fast-paced emergency room environment. The nurse will provide care to patients of various age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Key responsibilities include triage, administering emergency medications, and managing ventilated patients. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy services. The nurse should have skills in blood product administration and central line care/management. Experience with IV sedation and managing traumatic situations is essential. Candidates must be able to interpret dysrhythmias and manage psychiatric holds when necessary. The position requires flexibility to float between different locations as needed.
