Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,110 per week in Renton, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12H Day Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2+ years of ER experience, 1+ year of trauma experience License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: 100% must have EPIC experience. No first-time travelers accepted. Must be comfortable providing culturally competent care to a diverse population. Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse specialized in the Emergency Room. Candidates must have experience in a high-volume emergency department. The ER features a four-zone department and utilizes a team-based approach. Travelers may assist in triage after completing additional orientation and testing. Nurses manage their own patients, including long holds. There is a separate triage area and psych/seclusion rooms available. The expected patient volume is approximately 250 patients per day. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 4:1 for the main emergency department and 5:1 for accelerated care. RNs are responsible for drawing ABGs and performing basic breathing treatments. Critical patients may need to be transported by RNs. Shifts may vary, with every other weekend and holiday requirements. The organization maintains a commitment to providing high-quality care.
