ACLS BLS PALS TNCC NIHSS CPI RN License Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The unit has 22 beds and 23 staff members. Patient ratios are 1:4. Typical procedures performed include IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedation, and splinting. Must demonstrate strong teamwork and focus on patient experience. Familiarity with equipment such as splinting devices, defibrillators, and cardiac monitoring is required. The unit uses Meditech Magic and will transition to Meditech Expanse. Candidates must wear royal blue scrubs and closed-toe shoes. Specific dress code policies include no false nails and no use of air pods or meta glasses. Food and drinks are not allowed at the nurse's station as per regulatory guidelines. Candidates may be required to work weekends as needed. No on-call duties are associated with this position.
