Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required. Candidates must possess an active compact license. Basic Life Support certification is required. Advanced skills in emergency care are necessary. Procedures performed on the unit include various emergency interventions. Ability to float to other units is required. Candidates will be expected to work 36 hours per week. The unit operates with a variable staffing model. Patient ratios are generally 5:1. Dress code requires scrubs.
