Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,125 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Central Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36-hour work week with 1:3.5 nurse-to-patient ratio; every other or every third weekend required; float required as needed

• Work in a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center with stroke and STEMI certification serving all patient populations including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• 115-bed emergency department with 86 treatment rooms and daily census of 210 patients
• EPIC electronic medical record system with Pyxis medication management
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, pharmacy, and unit secretaries
• 36 hours of orientation provided; first-time travelers welcomed
• Navy scrubs provided

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Proficiency in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma care, psychiatric holds, and pediatric emergency care
• Experience with arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, IV vasopressors, and continuous IV sedation/paralytics
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
