Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,125 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), weekdays and some weekends with rotating holidays. 8 weekend shifts per contract. 1:4 patient ratio. Floating required within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

• Combined adult and pediatric emergency department with 28 rooms and approximately 110 visits per day
• Trauma Level 3, Primary Stroke, and STEMI Center designation
• Epic EMR system with 36 hours of orientation provided
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, respiratory services, and interpretation services
• Pre-approved time off available with advance planning
• Travel assignment opportunity for qualified candidates with previous travel experience preferred

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; PALS, NRP, TNCC preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insertion and maintenance, phlebotomy, and isolation precautions
• Experience with triage, procedural sedation, and Level I Trauma preferred
• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• 2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Ability to complete Ohio state fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract acceptance
