Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN ADN Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC (must be from AHA) Must-Have: Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation Description: We are seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department. This facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center. It provides healthcare services to a diverse region. The facility offers a variety of medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. Additional services include a childbirth center, cancer center, pediatric unit, and behavioral health unit. The hospital is recognized for its state-of-the-art operating suites and accredited imaging and lab services. The Emergency Department consists of 48 beds with flex space. The patient ratios are 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track. Equipment includes Zoll Defibrillators, blood transfusion equipment, and ultrasound-guided IV systems. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. The patient population includes adults and pediatrics. Common conditions treated include ESRD, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain.
