Must have required certifications. Must be willing to work every other weekend. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialing in Emergency Room care. This position involves working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts during the day. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Experience in an emergency room setting is required. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Weekend shifts are required, specifically two shifts every other weekend. The nurse will care for patients of all ages and with a variety of diagnoses. Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. Charting will be conducted using an electronic health record system. No on-call requirements are necessary for this position. Candidates must float within their scope to meet facility needs. This position does not accommodate block scheduling. All travelers must comply with facility requirements. Maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed. Compliance deadlines must be strictly adhered to prior to the start date. Fit testing for safety equipment is required before beginning work. All certifications must be verified within specified time frames. Modules and training prior to employment are mandatory.
