Must-Have: Previous charge experience is required. Patient ratio experience: 1:4 Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. This role involves working night shifts. You will be responsible for providing care to patients in the emergency department. You will work with a patient ratio of 1:4. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend rotation is required every third weekend. For night shifts, weekend coverage can include Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday. All certifications must be current prior to starting the assignment. You will be expected to float within your scope to meet facility needs. This is an acute care setting with a total of 233 staffed beds. Daily census includes various patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics. The emergency department treats all patient types, including pediatric cases. Interdisciplinary support is available from various departments including respiratory and social services. Candidates should possess skills in managing various emergency situations. This includes but is not limited to: drug overdoses, triage, and management of psychotic behaviors. All required skills must be validated prior to the start date. Compliance requirements must be met within designated timeframes.
