Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
- BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), TNCC certifications
- RN License in state of TX or compact
