Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,144 per week in Laveen, AZ

Job Title: ER Float RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Active RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Candidates must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, with a maximum of 2 attempts. All RNs are required to complete a skills lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. Competence in maintaining a sterile field is expected. Description: This position requires floating between multiple emergency room locations in the area. The schedule will be provided in advance so travelers know which location they will be reporting to. COVID declination is accepted for medical or religious reasons. All travelers are required to pass a skills lab assessment on the first day of orientation. Candidates will also learn about lifts, restraints, and wound care; this is educational since equipment and policies may vary. RNs will work with a maximum of 4 patients per nurse. Employee will be one of only two RNs on staff at satellite locations. Weekend and holiday coverage is required as needed. The emergency room is capable of handling vents. Lab draws will be performed by emergency room staff. The electronic medical record system in use is Cerner.
