Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,146 per week in Marshalltown, IA

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM) Experience: Minimum 24 months of current/recent ER experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact/multi-state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required; De-Escalation Certificate preferred; NIH Stroke Scale certificate nice to have Must-Have: - 24 months of Emergency Department experience - Recent travel experience preferred - EPIC EMR experience preferred - All certificates must be active Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care in the Emergency Room. The nurse will conduct clinician interviews and manage patient assessments effectively. Candidates must be able to work a holiday rotation and every third weekend. The Emergency Room features 16 beds with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:5. The nurse will care for trauma, stroke, obstetrics, and advanced cardiac patients. Candidates must possess critical thinking and strong communication skills. Current certifications required include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. A De-Escalation Certificate is preferred, and a NIH Stroke Scale certificate is nice to have. All nurses must have a valid nursing license at the time of application. Professional references from a supervisor or nursing manager within the last 24 months are preferred.
