Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,149 per week in Marion, IA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Flex shifts between 0500 - 1730 and 0700 - 1930 based on staffing and census needs. Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience required. License: Active Iowa or compact multistate nursing license required. Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Trauma Nursing Core Competency (TNCC) - NIH Stroke Scale certification Must-Have: - Emergency Medical Records (EMR) experience, specifically with EPIC - Completion of a travel contract within the previous 18 months - Active PALS and TNCC certificates - De-escalation training certificates such as CPI, MAB, MOAB, or SAMA are preferred Description: The position requires swiftly interviewing qualified candidates. Candidates must have 24 months of Emergency Room experience. Candidates must possess an active nursing license valid in Iowa or a compact state. BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are required. Experience with the EPIC EMR system is necessary. Candidates should also have de-escalation training certificates, which are preferred. Flexibility to work required holidays if the unit is open is expected. This role may involve floating between locations as needed. The nurse will handle a mixture of patient populations and will work with drips and titrations. Candidates will be expected to work every fourth weekend. The role involves maintaining patient safety and providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
