Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,150 per week in Seattle, WA

Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Evening/Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Emergency Department, including travel experience, with a minimum of 2 years as a staff RN in an Emergency Department that is a Level 3 trauma center or higher. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC and/or ATCN, ENPC and/or PALS. Must-Have: - Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; a test will be conducted. - Required skills include ventilator management, IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation. - Prefer experience in ICP monitoring and trauma-level facilities. - Must work every other weekend. Description: The position involves working in the Emergency Department. The RN will handle a variety of patient cases, including trauma and critical care. Daily census is approximately 180 visits, with a patient ratio of 1:4. Staffing includes multiple RNs and support staff per zone. The RN may participate in triage on a case-by-case basis. The role will not involve charge nurse responsibilities. Mandatory work during at least one holiday is required. Candidates may have non-scheduled days but must meet the three shifts per week commitment. No more than one week off during the contract duration is allowed. Experience with special equipment is preferred. Candidates should have successful previous travel assignments.
