Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in an ER setting required License: KY or compact license required Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS TNCC NIHSS Must-Have: No trauma level one experience necessary Travel experience preferred, but not necessary Description: Candidates must have 2 years of experience in an ER setting. Required certifications include NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. No trauma level one experience is necessary. Travel experience is preferred, but not a requirement. RTO for longer than one week will not be approved unless under special circumstances. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted at this facility. Candidates are required to have experience in an ER setting. Weekend shifts will include 4-5 shifts per 6 weeks. For evenings, Friday and Saturday will be counted as weekends. For mornings, Saturday and Sunday will be counted as weekends. Candidates will float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. Previous charge experience is required, in addition to patient ratio experience. Candidates must complete required compliance modules during orientation. Candidates will be required to float within the hospital. All references must be submitted at the time of application. Candidates with any licensure hits will not be accepted. Eligibility for rehire will be checked prior to employment.
