Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years in Emergency Department License: Current RN License in state of practice Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA only; TNCC; NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility. Experience must be indicated on the resume. Description: This position involves providing direct patient care for individuals of all age groups. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The role also involves monitoring and coordinating patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize care and comfort. As an RN, you will function within the scope of nursing preparation and adhere to established guidelines of nursing practice. You will maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
