Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,167 per week in Lake Charles, LA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of experience in the Emergency Department, preferably in a Trauma Emergency Department. Travel experience required, with a preference for candidates with more than one travel contract. License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Must-Have: Candidates must have the required certifications prior to starting. NRP and ENPC certifications would be a plus. Candidates should not have any vacation or travel plans during the contract. Description: Registered Nurse needed for the Emergency Department. The shift is 3 days per week for 12 hours each day. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department, preferably in a Trauma center. All required certifications must be obtained before the start date. Candidates should expect to potentially work holidays and weekends. Request for time off should be kept to a minimum, especially during the first two weeks of the assignment. Candidates may be required to float to other units as needed.
