Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,184 per week in Guilford, CT

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in a similar setting preferred, 2 years preferred. License: Pending license accepted. Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS required. Must-Have: - Willingness to work every other weekend. - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs. - Experience with trauma level I or II preferred. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care in a fast-paced environment. The average patient ratio is 1:6. Candidates should have experience in emergency medicine and trauma care. The role may include rotations to other campuses as needed. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Skills required include IV management, intubation, and emergency medications. The patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Travel experience is required. Candidates must possess the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates should be prepared to manage a diverse range of medical emergencies. Weekend availability is necessary, with every other weekend required. References may be required prior to employment. The position will not involve trauma or rescue room responsibilities.
