**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Acute Travel Registered Nurse (ER) - **Location:** Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, NC - **Shift:** 9A - 9P - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 **Orientation Schedule:** - Start on one of the following dates: - October 12th - October 26th - November 9th - November 16th - December 7th **Unit Profile:** - **Trauma Level:** All types of trauma receive care - **Number of Beds:** 32 in the Emergency Department - **Patient Ratios:** 1:4 to 1:5 - **EHR System:** Cerner **Position Requirements:** - **Years of Experience:** Minimum 2 years - **Required Certifications:** - ACLS - PALS or ENPC - NIHSS - **Must Have Skills:** - Strong patient experience skills - Critical thinking in high-pressure situations - Physical stamina for a fast-paced environment **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in a high-paced ED - Familiarity with strokes, STEMIs, and trauma cases - Energetic and knowledgeable personality **Additional Information:** - **Weekend Hours:** Rotate every other weekend - **Float Requirements:** Assistance in areas where competencies exist - **Common Diagnoses/Treatments:** Wide range of patient needs from birth to death - **Dress Code:** - Scrub color: Any - Unacceptable attire: Hoodies, inappropriate t-shirts, etc. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
