Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,185 per week in Saint Paul, MN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (11:00 - 23:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Room License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: Must be able to initiate and complete inpatient orders and order sets for boarding patients. Description: Position available for an experienced ER nurse. The shift schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts. Patient ratios are 1:4. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend coverage is required, with work expected every third weekend. No on-call duties are required. The nurse will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census in the unit is approximately 167 visits, with a total of 52 rooms and 45 staffed beds. The facility provides a combination of care for boarding patients awaiting hospital placement and emergency department patients. Nurses may need to float within the hospital to meet patient needs. Experience with Epic charting is required. Additional interdisciplinary support services include respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Nurses will care for a variety of cases, including trauma, injury, and urgent medical conditions. All candidates must comply with the background check policy, including fingerprinting.
