**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
- **Location:** Canyon Vista Medical Center, Sierra Vista, AZ
- **Schedule:** 11A - 11:30P
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
**Unit Profile:**
- **Floor:** Emergency Department (ED)
- **Number of Beds:** 22
- **Patient Ratios:**
- 4:1 for pod patients
- 2:1 for critical cases
- 6:1 for fast track
- **Equipment Used:** Cerner EHR
- **Patient Population:** All age groups (geriatric, adult, pediatric)
- **Supervisor:** Amanda Mancini
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Collaborate with a team-oriented staff to ensure the best patient outcomes
- Handle a unique mix of cases, including traumas, STEMIs, psych emergencies, cardiac events, GI issues, strokes, and more
**Candidate Qualifications:**
- **Required Experience:**
- 2+ years in emergency nursing
- **Mandatory Certifications:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- TNCC
- PALS
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with trauma and pediatric cases
- **Characteristics:**
- Hard-working, resilient, team-oriented, and easy-going personality
