Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Goldsboro, NC. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Department Nurse:
- Rapidly assess and triage patients with a wide range of acute conditions
- Administer medications, IVs, and emergency interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and support staff in high-pressure situations
- Monitor and document patient conditions using EHR systems
- Assist in trauma care, code situations, and critical patient stabilization
- Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and accurate records
Qualifications of the Travel Emergency Department Nurse:
- Active RN license (North Carolina or compact eligible)
- BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience in a hospital setting
- Strong clinical skills in emergency and trauma care
- Ability to remain calm and focused in rapidly changing environments
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts
