Mandatory Experience:
ER RN
NRP Certification Preferred
Multitasked that is able to efficiently work independently
Meditech EMR, Life pack Defibrillators, Braun IV pumps, Philips Monitoring Systems, and Motorola Radio Systems.
More than 2 years’ experience, proficient IV skills, familiar with Stroke, STEMI and Trauma activations, Understands core measures and National Patient Safety Goals, familiar with AIDET and Press Ganey patient customer services
ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, NIHSS, (Mandatory). NCI and Procedural Sedation (requested, not mandatory)
Shift or schedule requirements: Variable - 8- or 12-hour shifts, scheduled 80 hours in 2-week period, manager to determine shift upon arrival, one on call shift per roster, at least one weekend off per roster.
Floating to other units/departments: Determined by nursing administration, and will only float to units the employee has clinical abilities to work in.
