Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to work in a high-volume, high-acuity 64-bed ED. The RN will provide rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment to patients across all age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
- Perform rapid triage, assessment, and prioritization of patients
- Deliver emergency care for conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency interventions
- Operate and assist with specialized equipment (e.g., Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun)
- Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, and interdisciplinary staff
- Provide patient and family education during critical situations
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR system
- Float to other units as needed
- May serve in charge nurse capacity (preferred)
