Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,203 per week in Salem, MA

Job Title: Emergency Room RN Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years Emergency Nursing experience License: RN License Certifications: AHA Certified BLS, ACLS & PALS Must-Have: - NRP & TNCC certifications strongly preferred - General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education Description: Emergency Department RN needed for night shifts. The position requires 36 hours per week. The emergency department has a 65-bed capacity and follows a pod-based structure. There are separate areas for pediatric cases and acute mental health situations. The daily census is approximately 230 visits. The clinician to patient ratio is 1:4. Experience with EMR charting system is essential. Floating to other areas may be required occasionally. Rotating shifts may be requested but the night position does not rotate. Candidates should possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills to manage a diverse patient population.
