Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,203 per week in Salem, MA

Job Title: Emergency Department RN Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience License: RN License Certifications: AHA Certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. NRP and TNCC certifications strongly preferred. Must-Have: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: - Assessment - Documentation - IV therapy - Phlebotomy - EKG and cardiac monitoring - Point of care testing - Splinting - Critical thinking - Patient education Description: This is a position in the Emergency Department working night shifts. The job requires strong assessment and documentation skills. You will perform IV therapy and phlebotomy as part of your duties. Monitoring EKG and cardiac activity will be essential. You will conduct point of care testing and splinting as needed. Critical thinking skills and the ability to educate patients are necessary. The clinician to patient ratio is 1:4. The patient population includes all ages. This position requires flexibility for floating and rotating shifts when requested. The charting system used is EPIC ASAP. Emergency Department census is approximately 230 visits per day.
