Description:
The position requires a Registered Nurse specialized in the Emergency Room.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care in a fast-paced environment.
Nurse-patient ratios are typically 1:4.
The unit treats an average of 66 patients per day.
Common diagnoses include stroke, STEMI, sepsis, chest pain, and behavioral health issues.
There is a designated triage area, and travelers are allowed to triage if experienced.
A charge nurse typically does not have an assignment but may take one during the night shift.
ED technicians assist with various tasks and patient care.
The team operates with accountability and respect for each member.
Travelers often choose to extend their assignments due to a supportive work environment.
A cancellation policy exists for shift cancellations during the assignment.
The charting system used in the unit is electronic.
Weekend availability is required, as well as working some holidays.
There is no call or standby requirement for this position.
Dress code includes royal blue scrubs.
