Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department experience, with experience in a Level I Trauma Center and a 500+ bed hospital preferred. License: Active state license to practice verified in the last 30 days Certifications: Active BLS certification, Active ACLS certification, Active PALS certification, Active TNCC certification, NIHSS certification Must-Have: Must have travel experience, must have life support certifications from approved vendors, no hits on state license to practice, RTO cannot exceed 7 days, no RTO during the first week of assignment, driver's license to verify residency Description: Candidates must have prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center. Candidates need a minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience. Experience in a 500+ bed hospital is preferred. Candidates must have prior travel experience. Certifications required include PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. May take overflow inpatient holds in the ED on a rotating basis with other travelers and core staff. Residents of the state are not eligible for assignments in facilities within the state. Candidates must clearly outline all criteria they are willing to accept. The more flexible candidates are with locations, shifts, and departments, the faster an offer can be secured. Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. RTO must be included on the cover page and cannot exceed 7 days. No RTO is allowed during the first week of assignment. Candidates should list all facilities they are willing to work in. Please specify facility names, states, or indicate if open to any facility in any state. All shifts candidates are willing to work should be indicated. Candidates should outline all departments they are experienced in and willing to work. All candidates submitted should be pre-closed and ready to accept. Immediate notification is required if the candidate withdraws or is no longer available. Profile requirements include a completed cover page, resume with all facilities and departments worked, ER skills checklist completed in the last 12 months, and valid certifications from approved vendors. Strict adherence to all background check standards is required.
