# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – Texas

Start Date: September 9, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating weekends (approximately 4 shifts per schedule period), 13-week contract

Highlights:

• 32-bed Emergency Department providing critical emergency care
• 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with collaborative team support including CNCs, medics, and PCTs
• Meditech EMR system
• Diverse case mix including intubations, TNK administration, lumbar punctures, laceration repairs, and splinting
• Supportive night shift team environment with experienced clinical leadership
• 13-week contract assignment with no call requirements

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license or compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
• TNCC certification required by start date
• ENPC certification required by start date
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required (facility standard)
