Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,218 per week in Prestonsburg, KY

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current experience required License: Current Kentucky or compact license required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH, TNCC, PALS, CPI (or Avade) required Must-Have: Float required within the scope of practice Every other weekend required Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated Description: The Emergency Room is seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of current experience. AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications are required. Knowledge and certifications in NIH, TNCC, PALS, and CPI (or Avade) are also necessary. Candidates must possess a valid Kentucky or compact nursing license. Nurses will be expected to float within their scope of practice as required. This position requires working every other weekend. Please note that blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. All facilities operate on a schedule of 36/48 hours for the two-week pay period unless specified otherwise. Staff-to-patient ratios may fluctuate with changes in census and call-ins. Orientation will be conducted bi-weekly. Certification of experience and qualifications is necessary for consideration. Candidates must be willing to work on holidays and may not modify pre-approved time off. References are required: one from a charge nurse or higher and one from a supervisor. All required certifications must be provided for submission. Background checks and any license issues must be addressed upfront. After completing one year, travelers must take a minimum six-month break before returning.
