Job Title: RN - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

Pay: $2,410.56 per week

Shifts: Nights 7PM - 7AM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled RN to join a busy Emergency Room/Emergency Department in Alexandria, LA. This travel contract position involves working in a very high acuity unit, dealing with complex patient cases involving strokes, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, sepsis, and other critical conditions. This role requires a competent nurse capable of providing comprehensive care and managing clinical contingencies independently.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families
Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitor for side effects and effectiveness
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

De-Escalation certification required
BLS certification from the AHA required
ACLS certification from the AHA required
PALS certification from the AHA required
TNCC required
RN License in the state of employment or compact
