# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Texas

Start Date: September 3, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week contract, night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), rotating weekends (4 shifts per schedule), no call required

Highlights:

• 32-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratios
• Comprehensive case mix including LP, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Collaborative nursing team of over 117 staff members with experienced charge nurses and support personnel
• Meditech EMR system for streamlined documentation and patient care
• Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 1 paramedic, and 1 PCT for optimal team support
• Opportunity for permanent placement after contract completion

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC certification required by start date
• ENPC certification required by start date
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
