Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,229 per week in Roseburg, OR

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not required at time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC Must-Have: PALS or ENPC recommended but not required Description: The facility is a Level III Trauma Center. The Emergency Room has 21 beds and 1 Trauma Bay. There are 4 Fast Track beds available. There are 2 separate triage rooms where travelers are allowed to triage. ER holds are intermixed within the ER, and ER staff manage holds. There are separate psych/seclusion rooms available. In-house security is present. The average number of patients per day is 125. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1. ED Physicians provide 24/7 coverage with PA support for 8-16 hours a day. Charge Nurse and House Supervisor are available 24/7. ED Techs are available around the clock. The department uses Meditech for charting. Respiratory Therapy handles ABGs and breathing treatments. Nurses and Techs perform EKGs. Transports for imaging are conducted by imaging staff. ED Techs and RNs do most blood draws. 12-hour shifts are required with weekend rotation every other week. Holiday requirements are scheduled as per contract. No call or standby is required. There is no floating requirement. Scrub color is any color other than purple.
