Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 24 months of recent Emergency Room experience License: Active state license to practice Certifications: - Active ACLS certification from approved vendor - Active BLS certification from approved vendor - Active PALS certification from approved vendor - Active TNCC certification from approved vendor Must-Have: - No hits on state license to practice - Driver's license to verify residency Description: Navy scrubs are required. Rotating weekends and holidays are part of the schedule. Floating to sister sites may be required, depending on census and staffing needs. Residents of certain states are not eligible for assignments in facilities within that state. Candidates should clearly outline all criteria they are willing to accept. Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments can expedite the offer process. Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. Requests for time off cannot exceed 7 days and no requests during the first week of assignment will be accepted. All candidates submitted should be pre-closed and ready to accept the position. Immediate notification is required if the candidate withdraws or is no longer available. All applicants must adhere to background check standards. A complete cover page is required. A resume detailing all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds is mandatory. An ER skills checklist must be completed within the last 12 months.
