- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Perform procedures such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, medication administration, EKGs, and management of drips and infusions.
- Assist in the evaluation and stabilization of patients presenting with illness, trauma, or psychiatric crises.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practitioners, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Float to the ED Observation Unit as assigned.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (Cerner).
- Comply with hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols.
