Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at Northside Hospital Forsyth Outpatient Surgery Center, located in Cumming, Georgia. This role is crucial for providing exceptional perioperative care to patients undergoing a diverse range of surgical procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive expertise across various surgical specialties, including but not limited to robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, and gynecology. A strong background with significant experience in GYN, plastics, and prostate biopsy procedures is highly valued. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative phase in the operating room.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
• Monitor patient's physiological status during surgery and intervene as necessary.
• Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and surgical draping.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of recent, acute care experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Cumming, Georgia, to qualify for this travel assignment.

• Holiday Requirements: Must work two (2) major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one (1) minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
