License: Requires current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact. Certifications: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Trauma Nurse Course Certification - American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support is required within one year of hire. Must-Have: - Clinical competence and experience in patient care management - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing. Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The position requires the registered nurse to provide comprehensive care and effectively communicate with patients and their families. Skills required include clinical competence, patient care management, nursing theory, and nursing practice. Every other holiday and every third weekend are part of the schedule. The registered nurse works three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7 PM to 7 AM.
