Join our dedicated Surgical Services team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Woodsville, New Hampshire. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population ranging from 7 to 100 years old within a dynamic surgical environment.
The primary focus of this position involves circulating during a variety of surgical procedures. Nurses will also be responsible for intraoperative and post-operative care, including PACU duties. Training will be provided for PACU responsibilities if needed, ensuring a supportive environment for skill development.
Key Responsibilities
Perform circulating duties during surgical procedures across various specialties.
Provide skilled intraoperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety and advocacy.
Deliver post-operative care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), with training provided as necessary.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all perioperative standards and protocols.
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire or a compact state license.
Experience as an OR Circulating Registered Nurse.
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical experience in endoscopies, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and podiatry.
Previous experience with Oracle/Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Prior travel nursing experience.
