Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Deliver emergency nursing care to patients in a high-acuity setting
- Triage, assess, and treat patients in critical or emergent conditions
- Administer medications and therapies in accordance with physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
- Respond quickly and effectively to codes and trauma cases
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact license)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (TNCC and PALS preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
