Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,261 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: ER Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour (14:00 - 02:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Valid Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: - Previous charge experience (2 years) - Patient ratio experience (4 patients) - Charting system experience (Epic) Description: This position is for an ER Nurse. The role involves floating between units based on the needs of the facility. Weekends are required, with every other weekend scheduled. Flexible scheduling is an expectation. The expected patient ratio is 1:4. This position entails evening and night shifts. The daily census in the ER is approximately 85 patients. Traveler may be required to float to other units based on skill sets. Travelers’ refusal to float may result in contract termination. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays during the contract period. Candidates should have experience handling emergencies of all ages and conditions. An interdisciplinary support team is available, including respiratory services and social services. Triage experience is a hard requirement for this role. References covering one year within the last three years are required.
